Red Stick Carpentry, LLC was founded in 2010 with a focus on creating quality, custom trim carpentry and staircases in and around the Baton Rouge area.
Working from a young age with his father, and then having the privilege to train one-on-one with numerous other skilled craftsmen in his early career, owner Josh Guilbeau learned not only the solid ethics to build his company upon, but many nearly-lost specialty skills that he is able to apply daily to his work. Likewise, his attention to detail, and resourcefulness for finding solutions to uncommon building obstacles are unmatched.
Whether it’s new construction, remodels, or historical rehabiliations, he tackles each project individually to achieve the highest quality end product for his clients.
Services include general and specialty trim, designer closets, applied moulding, custom trim profile creation (to match existing construction), RFID-activated hidden doors (Murphy doors), sliding barn doors, staircases, wainscotting, paneled walls, pantries, floating shelves, mantels, hand and balcony rails, wood ceilings, and door installations.
Josh is a fireman with the Baton Rouge Fire Department and currently lives in Zachary with his wife, Dana. When he’s not working, you can find him on a golf course, on a fishing boat, or in a duck blind.
